In Ukraine, it is allowed to book 100% of employees from two more categories.
The government of Ukraine has expanded the booking opportunities from mobilization for medical workers of state and municipal healthcare institutions.
Now medical workers are allowed to fully exempt themselves from mobilization, as well as prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Previously, medical institutions were allowed to book only 50% of their staff, and increasing this quota required a separate permit from the Minister of Defense.
Medical workers of state and municipal healthcare institutions, as well as public health institutions, forensic medical and forensic psychiatric examinations, and blood centers will have the right to deferment from mobilization if this work is their primary place of employment.
The Ministry of Health considers this decision important for optimizing administrative processes and exempting hospitals from obtaining special permits.
The new rules apply only to medical workers; other staff in medical institutions remain unchanged in their restrictions.
It was previously known that Ukrainian refugees are offered the opportunity to book themselves from the army under one condition.
