In Ukraine, prices for eggs, sunflower oil and cereals have jumped: how much they cost in March.

Prices for some food products in March changed compared to February. This information is provided by the Minfin portal, referring to price monitoring data.

In everyday life, basic food products such as chicken eggs, sunflower oil, buckwheat, rice, and pasta play an important role. They are an essential part of many dishes and indicate the availability of food products in the country.

Ukrainians were shown what is happening with prices for chicken eggs, sunflower oil, buckwheat, rice, and pasta in early March.

The price of chicken eggs varied significantly. The price of 'Kvochka' eggs increased from 60.97 UAH to 62.50 UAH for 10 pieces, while 'Yasensvit' eggs rose from 66.62 UAH to 68.20 UAH for 10 pieces. However, large packages of 'Yasensvit' remained at approximately the same level, as 18 pieces cost 120.27 UAH, and 30 pieces increased from 200.79 UAH to 206.60 UAH.

Prices for chicken eggs showed a mixed dynamic. 'Kvochka' eggs (category C1, 10 pcs) increased in price from 60.97 UAH to 62.50 UAH. 'Yasensvit' eggs (category C1, 10 pcs) rose in price from 66.62 UAH to 68.20 UAH. At the same Time, the price of 'Yasensvit' in large packages hardly changed: 18 pcs remained at 120.27 UAH, while 30 pcs increased from 200.79 UAH to 206.60 UAH.

The price for refined sunflower oil 'Oleyna' increased from 73.86 UAH to 74.50 UAH, while the price for 'Shchedry Dar' oil rose from 77.48 UAH to 80.80 UAH.

The average price for 1 kg of buckwheat increased slightly and is 33.67 UAH. However, prices in different chains can vary significantly: from 27.90 UAH in Auchan to 42.40 UAH in Megamarket.
