One resident received a bill for 2606 m3 of gas instead of the expected 10 m3 for the summer period. The woman pointed out the rule that in the absence of meter readings, gas charges should be based on the average consumption volume. Representatives of 'Naftogaz' explained that it is important to provide meter data every month to avoid incorrect calculations. The company only charges for gas, while the volume accounting is done by gas distribution network operators. Therefore, in case of doubts regarding the volumes, it is recommended to contact local gas distribution operators. In emergency cases, it is advisable to contact local gas distribution operators to verify the consumed gas volumes and avoid misunderstandings about payments.
