The Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths was launched to ensure effective communication between the private defense industry and state and international partners, as well as military structures.
The following organizations are already registered as part of the Council:
- League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine
- Ukrainian Robotic Forces
- Association of Manufacturers of REB/RER
- Techosystem Defense
- Defense Alliance of Ukraine
- Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies 'ARMADA'
- D3 Venture Capital Investment Fund
Advisor to the President of Ukraine on strategic issues, former Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Council of Gunsmiths.
Igor Fedirka, former Deputy Director of 'Ukroboronservis' on humanitarian demining and head of the State Center for Humanitarian Demining has been elected as the Executive Director.
Uniting manufacturers into one advocacy organization is a successful practice used worldwide.
