Fake images of soldiers, created with the help of artificial intelligence, are spreading in Ukraine. Russian propagandists are actively using these images to create fake accounts on social networks. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation on its Facebook page.

A large number of posts containing photos of fictional Ukrainian soldiers are being spread on social networks. These posts call for congratulating them on various events. There are also similar posts about rescue actions by soldiers or civilians. Russia may use these social media pages for information warfare against Ukraine.

This activity may be part of an intelligence and espionage strategy based on information manipulation to create distrust among the Ukrainian population and beyond.

These fake materials can significantly impact public opinion and the informational environment, forming a misleading perception of the military situation in Ukraine.

The threat is not only that these posts can be used for fraud, but also that they contain malicious links that can hide petitions or other harmful elements.

Russia uses nuclear threats and war conflict scare tactics against the West. This was reported by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko.

We remind that the Center for Countering Disinformation has forbidden soldiers to use Telegram.

The Center for Countering Disinformation also presented several scenarios for the development of the electricity supply situation in Ukraine during the winter period. The most optimistic forecast assumes that Ukrainians will have electricity for 12 hours a day.
