Ukraine Unveils 'Prometheus' Artillery Command System: Key Details.
Ukraine's 'Prometheus' Artillery System
According to Espreso.tv: Developed within Ukraine's 147th Separate Artillery Brigade of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces, the 'Prometheus' system is designed to coordinate artillery crews and streamline fire command. This innovation aims to boost battlefield effectiveness by improving how artillery units operate and respond to threats.
On May 9, the 7th Air Assault Corps also tested a logistics combat reconnaissance and patrol vehicle, along with a remotely controlled Nissan Navara. These advancements are expected to enhance unit mobility and responsiveness, critical factors in modern combat scenarios.
Vitaliy Serdyuk emphasized that 'today, artillery is not just about guns and ammunition, but also about the speed of information transfer and analysis. 'Prometheus' allows commanders to more accurately assess the real-time performance of their units and make faster, more informed decisions.'
The creation of 'Prometheus' marks a significant step in modernizing Ukraine's armed forces, as it directly improves coordination between artillery units. In the context of active hostilities and rapidly shifting conditions, such technologies are vital for mission success. This development also underscores the growing role of military innovation in addressing contemporary challenges.
