Ukrzaliznytsia Created a New Medical Train for the Evacuation of the Wounded
The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has created another train that will be used for life-saving operations for wounded soldiers, the company's press service reported.
The train consists of eight modernized cars suitable for evacuating the wounded.
'This train includes a resuscitation car, and the train cars are equipped with generators for autonomous power, oxygen concentrators, artificial lung ventilation devices, blood transfusion equipment, cardiomonitors, and other technology that allows for the safe transport of wounded individuals of varying severity and provides emergency assistance,' the report states.
It is noted that 78 cars have already been refurbished for medical evacuation, including resuscitation and stationary cars, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
In March, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' showcased its first medical trains equipped with medical facilities capable of providing assistance and even performing surgeries while in motion, for transporting severely wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
Today, there are five improved trains in Ukraine. 'Ukrzaliznytsia' claims that ticket prices remain unchanged and correspond to the ticket prices of similar trains by class.
