The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine denied the suspension of Pavlo Kyrylenko from the position of head of the Antimonopoly Committee. The panel of judges did not satisfy the request of the prosecutor of the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office. This was reported by the SAP press service on Facebook on Monday, August 11.
Kyrylenko was not suspended from the position of head of the AMCU
Kyrylenko is accused of illegal enrichment of more than 72 million hryvnias. In addition, he provided false information in his declaration.'It should be noted that this court decision is not subject to appeal', the statement said. At the same time, VAKS imposed some obligations on Kyrylenko: - to appear at every request of the prosecutor and the court; - not to leave Ukraine without the court's permission; - to inform the court of a change of residence; - to refrain from communicating personally and through other persons with witnesses in the case regarding the circumstances set forth in the indictment; - to surrender to the State Migration Service of Ukraine his passport for travel abroad, other documents that grant the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine, except for the passport of a citizen of Ukraine. The SAP added that the term of obligations is until October 11. Recall that on August 8, the SAP requested Kyrylenko's suspension from the position due to illegal enrichment. Earlier, he was notified of another suspicion. It concerns the non-declaration of property. After the SAP's request to the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding the suspension of Pavlo Kyrylenko from the position of head of the Antimonopoly Committee, the court denied this, leaving him in office. Investigative actions and investigations are ongoing in the case of possible violations of the law.
