Intellectual Property for Stone Cloak Electronic Warfare System Transferred by UK to Ukraine, Enabling Domestic Mass Production.
Stone Cloak’s Intellectual Property Rights Now in Ukrainian Hands
According to Espreso.tv: The United Kingdom is granting Ukraine the intellectual property rights for the Stone Cloak electronic warfare system. This technology will allow Kyiv to establish large-scale manufacturing of the device, which is designed to disrupt Russian drone detection systems. Thousands of Stone Cloak units have already been delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by the UK Ministry of Defence.
Integration into Next-Generation British Weapons
Plans also include embedding Stone Cloak technology into new British weapons, particularly the Brakestop project. That initiative aims to develop a low-cost cruise missile with a minimum strike range of 600 km and a warhead weighing between 200 and 300 kg.
Leaders from the UK and Ukraine will meet with over 200 Ukrainian servicemembers who underwent training in Britain as part of the Sea Breeze exercises. Additionally, London is set to assist the European Union in financing a €90 billion loan for Ukraine’s defense and budget needs.
This transfer marks a significant step in Ukraine’s defense self-sufficiency. The handover of Stone Cloak’s intellectual property enables Ukraine to independently produce and deploy cutting-edge technology within its military. Furthermore, integrating these capabilities into next-generation British weaponry highlights the close defense collaboration between the two countries, which could substantially influence the conflict’s trajectory. The European Union’s pledged support also underscores international solidarity in safeguarding Ukraine amid ongoing threats from Russia.
