Czechia receives 100 howitzers from South Korea, bringing total artillery destined for Ukraine to 190.

Artillery systems delivered to Czechia

According to Espreso.tv: Data submitted to the UN Register of Conventional Arms by both South Korea and Czechia reveals the export of 100 artillery pieces in 105mm caliber, thought to be M101 towed howitzers. This underscores Czechia’s role in upgrading its own armed forces while simultaneously supporting Ukraine amid ongoing conflict. Czechia has become a key hub for military aid to Ukraine, often refurbishing older equipment before shipment.

Czechia has acquired a total of 190 artillery systems, broken down as follows:

• 56 M101 105mm towed howitzers;
• 68 M114 155mm howitzers;
• 66 M110A2 203mm self-propelled artillery pieces.

Importantly, Czechia purchases these weapons from multiple countries, restores them, and then transfers them to Ukraine – a clear sign of its commitment to Ukrainian forces.

Military cooperation

Additionally, Ukraine has taken delivery of 10 ALTO NG light training aircraft, another crucial element in strengthening its defense. These deliveries highlight the growing military-technical partnership between nations, which continues to deepen in response to regional security challenges.
