Ukraine's Defense Forces Strike Multiple Russian Military and Logistics Targets

According to UATV: Ukraine has been systematically striking Russian military and logistics infrastructure to disrupt Moscow's war effort. On July 24, 2023, its defense forces launched attacks against Russian military sites in Kirov, Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Kaluga Oblast, and Crimea. The strikes hit logistics hubs of the Wildberries online marketplace, along with other military and strategic facilities inside Russia.

Among the targets were:

• The Vyatka Machine-Building Plant 'Avitek', which manufactures components for Russian military equipment;
• The Subkhankulovo linear production dispatch station in Bashkortostan;
• The Novospassky oil refinery in Ulyanovsk Oblast;
• The Saki military airfield and the Nebo-U radar station in Crimea.

Experts say these strikes could significantly affect Russia's military capabilities. Retired Major General Mykola Malomuzh commented:

“Such large-scale attacks have the potential to seriously weaken the Russian army's position.”

Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine's long-range strikes hit an oil facility approximately 1,350 kilometers away.

Beyond military sites, the attacks also impacted Wildberries' infrastructure. According to the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, the marketplace acts as a direct contractor for the regime. In July 2026, Wildberries had already suffered a series of attacks that damaged its logistics network, including:

• A technological complex in Elektrostal on July 18;
• Distribution centers in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk on July 22.

Experts estimate that roughly 10% of Wildberries' warehouse capacity has been rendered inoperable.

On July 25, 2023, Commander of the SBS Robert 'Madjar' Brovdy reported strikes on six logistics warehouses in Russia and Crimea, underscoring the ongoing escalation of military operations in the region.

These attacks on Russian military facilities, particularly plants producing military equipment, demonstrate Ukraine's intent to strengthen its leverage in the conflict. Meanwhile, striking the logistics infrastructure of Wildberries could affect the supply of goods and services in Russia, highlighting the role of economic objectives in military strategy.
