The Venezuelan regime responds to Trump's actions
According to The Sun: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called the 'total' blockade of sanctioned oil tankers imposed by Donald Trump 'military threats'. His comments came after the latest escalation that brought the US and Venezuela closer to potential conflict.
Maduro also accused Trump of violating international law and the principles of free trade.
These statements from the Venezuelan leader indicate an intensification of tensions between the two countries. In recent years, the conflict between the US and Venezuela has only escalated, and new sanctions may affect the economic situation in the region, as well as the relations between the states.
