The war is nearing its end: how it affects the work of the Verkhovna Rada

According to inkorr.com: Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of parliament and member of the Committee on National Security, stated that the war between Russia and Ukraine is approaching its conclusion. This affects not only the front but also the activities of the Ukrainian parliament. He noted that the political forces in the Verkhovna Rada feel that the end of the war is already close.

'From the first hours of the war, when it was about the security and defense sector, there was complete consolidation. Just now, when it is obvious that the war is coming to an end, some acknowledge it, some do not, but in fact, we are moving in this direction. And certain political actions in various political forces are already starting,' - noted the deputy.

Venislavskyi also supported the initiative to impose criminal liability on deputies who evade their duties or leave the country. In his opinion, such actions are justified, especially in the context of defense and protection of the state.

The defense of the country remains a priority

Despite the reduced activity of some MPs, the Verkhovna Rada continues to work on important laws that contribute to strengthening Ukraine's defense capability. Important decisions are made even in the absence of some deputies, which emphasizes the significance of defense issues for all political forces.

The statement by the national deputy about the nearing end of the war in the east of the country reflects the sentiments of the government and political groups. At the same time, the Verkhovna Rada does not stop its work on legislation to improve Ukraine's defense capability, despite the decreased activity of some deputies.
