According to FREEДOM: Ukrainian veterans demonstrated their courage and strength by swimming 6.5 km across the Bosphorus Strait in Turkey. This event became a symbol of the fact that even after serious injuries, a person can live actively. One of the participants, Oleg Tserkovny, found swimming to be a primary method of rehabilitation after sustaining a head injury. Training lasted several months, and the feeling of water and strength helped participants overcome the challenging distance.
