U.S. President Donald Trump made new statements regarding the elections in Ukraine.

He made these statements during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago in response to questions from journalists.

We have a situation where elections were not held in Ukraine, where there is martial law, de facto martial law.
Shouldn't the people of Ukraine say that a lot of Time has passed since the last elections were held?

Trump also expressed his attitude toward President Zelensky's approval rating in Ukraine and the state of the country.

President Zelensky's approval rating has fallen to 4%, and the country is completely destroyed.
Almost all cities, except for Kyiv, are ruined.

Trump also noted that he considers establishing peace in Ukraine important.

I have the opportunity to stop this war.

The President mentioned the unutilized funds that were allocated by the U.S. for Ukraine, as well as the placement of European peacekeeping forces.

We allocated them, I think, 350 billion dollars. But Europe only gave 100 billion dollars.
I see no reporting on this.

Trump also expressed his opinion about Joe Biden and his previous presidency.

Joe Biden handled this poorly. It was pathetic and sad.

Trump called for a focus on work rather than personal relationships.

I want to see if I can save millions of lives. This could even end in a third world war.

Pointing out the dismal state of affairs, Trump expressed a desire to end the war in Ukraine.
