Zelensky reveals the scale of violations by Russia of the 'Easter ceasefire' at the front.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian occupation forces violated their own announcement of the Easter ceasefire, significantly increasing the intensity of shelling and the use of drones since 10 a.m. on Sunday.
According to information provided by the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, the use of FPV drones by the Russian army has doubled. The most active combat actions by the occupiers are taking place in the Pokrovsk and Siversk directions, where heavy weapons are still being used.
From 00:00 to 12:00 today, there have already been 26 Russian assaults
Zelensky emphasized that the Ukrainian side is recording every violation by Russia of their own promise of 'complete silence' during Easter and is ready to provide partners with the relevant information.
In fact, either Putin does not fully control his army, or the situation proves that they in Russia have no real goal of moving towards the end of the war and only need advantageous PR in the media
The president noted that despite the violations of the ceasefire, no air alerts were declared throughout the day.
Zelensky urged the media and bloggers to spread truthful information about the situation at the front and to 'pressure Moscow' so that the Russian side would indeed cease fire for at least 30 days after Easter to facilitate diplomatic efforts.
