From application to payment: how IDPs can receive housing rent subsidy.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine provides clarifications on obtaining a subsidy for housing rent for internally displaced persons. The procedure for receiving this assistance consists of three steps.
First, it is necessary to fill out and sign documents: the rental agreement and the application for receiving the subsidy with tax compensation. Some cases may require additional documents, such as confirmation of legal representative status or a court decision.
The next step is to submit the prepared documents to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This can be done in two ways: by visiting the service center of the PFU or the CNAP in person, where documents are submitted in paper form, or by using the online service through the PFU electronic services portal, where documents are submitted in electronic format and signed with a qualified electronic signature.
The necessary signatures of the tenant and the landlord must confirm their consent.
The final stage is waiting for the decision, which comes within 10 days after submitting the documents. The applicant receives a notification about the assignment of the subsidy and its amount or about the need to clarify the data or correct errors, or about the refusal.
The PFU reminds about pension and subsidy payments in February.
