Power outage: how schedules will operate on October 9.
Ukrenergo reports that there will be no planned electricity consumption restrictions tomorrow. However, they recommend using powerful electrical appliances during the most productive operation of solar power plants - from 10:00 to 16:00.
No restrictions are expected today either. However, the UN predicts that this winter Ukrainians may have to be without electricity for 4 to 18 hours per day. Authorities assure that by the end of October and in November, there will be no energy problems in Ukraine, and they also hope that the winter will pass without outages, as it did last year.
Among other things, due to the cancellation of hourly blackout schedules, electricity consumption levels are increasing. The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure has begun constructing a third level of passive protection at substations, but international partners consider this funding unwise until tests are conducted.
According to the European Commission, G7 countries and other partners have raised over $4 billion for the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
