The famous combatant heads a new regiment and addresses Ukrainians.
The K-2 battalion of the 54th mechanized brigade is receiving the 20th regiment of K-2 drone systems. This was reported by the battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Kyrylo Veres.
The commander noted: 'We are expanding! Our battalion is transforming into the 20th regiment of K-2 drone systems. We are opening our doors to everyone who wishes to join us. Both those who want to serve in the rear and those at the front can apply. There are vacancies for clerks, engineers, drivers, sapper and UAV operators of various types.'
Kyrylo Veres emphasized: 'We know how to protect infantry, as we ourselves have been infantry. For us, 'preservation of personnel' is not just words, but a mission we fulfill. We strike the enemy before the trenches and in the rear, during the day and at night.'
Kyrylo Veres also answered questions regarding the execution of command orders and shared his thoughts on life and military service.
Moreover, the commander of the Buk-M1 air defense missile division, Yaroslav Melnyk, noted that the age of fighters who join his military unit exceeds 35 years, and there are not many 20-year-old guys.
