'The War Will End Sooner': Zelensky Reveals Details of Communication with Trump.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced successful cooperation with the future President of the USA Donald Trump and hopes for a quick end to the war under his leadership.

Zelensky shared this in an exclusive interview with Suspilne on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian Radio.

«The basis on which we stand, he [Trump] heard. I heard nothing against our position», Zelensky emphasized, commenting on the dialogue about the Ukrainian peace concept.

The President particularly emphasized that Ukraine is an independent country in decision-making. «We are an independent country. And we, as a nation, and I personally during this war in talks with the USA, Trump, Biden, and European leaders, proved that the rhetoric 'Sit down and listen' does not work», he noted.

According to Zelensky, special attention is paid to achieving a just peace. «A just peace is very important to us so that there is no impression that we lost the best in the competition against the injustice imposed on us», the president emphasized.
