The Institute for the Study of War reported that the Russian Federation is utilizing new technological developments in its war against Ukraine. These innovations are also being used against NATO member countries.
Analysts noted that Russia is developing and improving its capabilities to use drones during the war, particularly in terms of the resilience of drones to electronic warfare and its own electronic warfare capabilities.
Over the past year, several NATO member countries have reported UAV surveillance, likely of Russian origin.
Unknown drones have been spotted over military bases in Germany, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being trained, as well as over the facilities of the defense consortium Rheinmetall.
