Azov soldier with the call sign 'Sid' has recovered after a head injury
Fighter Ostap Koshla, who belongs to the 12th Special Purpose Brigade 'Azov', was injured in the head during close combat. For eight hours, the guy waited for evacuation. Later, he shared his captivating journey of rescue and recovery with BBC journalists.
Despite the fact that Ostap could have stayed safe and not gone to war due to his young age and his father's opinion, he still decided to join 'Azov'. He was injured during the assault near Kreminna in August 2023.
Some of his comrades who also came to help lost him. However, with the help of a drone, the wounded Sid was located.
Currently, Sid helps his comrades as an ambassador of the rehabilitation center. He lives a happy life with his wife Anna and his beloved dog.
