Eight Military Units Lose the Right to Train New Recruits: Syrskyi's Directive.
Military Units Stripped of Independent Training Authority
According to Novyny.live: Eight Ukrainian military units have been stripped of their authority to independently conduct basic training for newly mobilized recruits due to serious violations. This decision was made by Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, following inspections carried out in May, during which 72 military units were reviewed.
The findings from these extensive checks highlight the urgent need to improve soldier training processes. Syrskyi has signed an order regulating the duration of troop deployments on the front line, capping the maximum period at two months. This measure aims to enhance service conditions and ensure better preparation of personnel.
Strengthening Defense Capabilities
At the same time, Syrskyi announced the creation of a fourth air defense echelon to protect two additional regions, underscoring the country's bolstered defensive posture. Furthermore, plans call for increasing the share of jet-powered attack drones in strikes against Kremlin forces to 50%, reflecting strategic shifts in Ukrainian military tactics.
How we treat people is what fundamentally sets us apart from the Russian aggressor. We protect our troops, which is why high-quality training for service members remains one of our top priorities.
Oleksandr Syrskyi
These decisions demonstrate the Ukrainian military command's serious commitment to raising the quality of recruit training and improving their service conditions. The revocation of independent training rights for certain units could be a critical step toward achieving more effective outcomes on the battlefield. Changes in drone strategy and the establishment of new air defense echelons also point to an intensification of the country's defensive measures amid the ongoing threat from the aggressor.
