According to TSN.ua: Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, has outlined his perspective on peace negotiations, stating that the safety and well-being of the population must be the foremost priority. He cautioned allies against appeasement policies, asserting that a true victory for Ukraine would be the restoration of its internationally recognized 1991 borders. Kim noted that the nation's 40 million citizens deserve a secure and prosperous future, a sentiment that resonates deeply as the war continues to exact a heavy toll.

Concerns Over Ukraine's Endurance

Kim also expressed doubt about Ukraine's capacity to sustain another two years of full-scale war, citing a state of national exhaustion.

“Land is important, but people are ultimately more important, and the situation is such that we do not know what tomorrow will bring,” he stated.

“Victory means our 1991 borders, where people are happy and are not being killed, but everyone is extremely tired,” Kim added.

He further emphasized that economic and physical strength are the decisive factors in halting Russian aggression.

“I sincerely believe that only through such things—economic strength, physical strength—and only in this way can we stop Russia,” stressed Vitaliy Kim, highlighting the critical importance of sustained support from international partners.
