In Kursk, a city in Russia, a recruitment advertisement banner featuring a Ukrainian soldier holding a child was placed. The banner is titled "For Ours." The city's mayor expressed his dissatisfaction with the responsible individual for the "gross mistake" in creating and placing the advertisement, as reported by the Telegram channel Astra.
Kursk Mayor Expresses Dissatisfaction with Head of Architecture Committee for Advertisement with Ukrainian Soldier
Kursk Mayor Igor Kutsak confirmed the information about the advertisement banner featuring a Ukrainian soldier and expressed his dissatisfaction with the head of the architecture and urban planning committee due to the "gross mistake in the production and placement of the military-patriotic banner."
The photo was taken during the evacuation of residents of the city of Irpin after the shelling of the Romanovsky Bridge at the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
According to the Foreign Affairs journal, thanks to the advance of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces will be able to hold back the Russian army from advancing on the Donbas and to protect the captured Russian territory "with a sustainable military commitment."
Progress in the Fight in the Kursk Region
Previously, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported that Ukrainian defense forces had advanced 2 kilometers in the Kursk region and gained control over 5 square kilometers of territory. In other directions, the situation remains challenging but controlled.
