This information is reported by the Swissinfo publication.
Recently, Switzerland has been considering improving the labor integration of Ukrainian refugees in the country. It is planned that by the end of 2025, half of the residence permit holders will have jobs. There is also a possibility of reviewing the legal framework for the protection of Ukrainian refugees, which may affect their status in the country. Furthermore, the government believes that financial incentives for cantons are not very effective, so it has been decided to change the approach to this issue.
The essence of it all is that Switzerland is attempting to promote the labor integration of Ukrainian refugees in the country by forcing cantons to take more responsibility in this matter. New measures planned to be introduced are expected to achieve specific results in the coming years.
