Vodafone Ukraine Announces Price Hikes for Mobile Plans Effective March 5.
Vodafone Tariff Increases
According to Novyny.live: Mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine has announced it will raise the price of a range of its tariff plans by 45 to 70 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH), effective March 5, 2026. The changes will affect several plans, which will receive not only a price increase but also enhanced service packages. This move is part of broader pricing adjustments in the Ukrainian telecom sector.
The planned price adjustments will apply to the following specific tariffs:
- Joice
- Joice Start 2023
- SuperNet Start+
- Joice Start
- Joice Start Special
- Turbo
- Joice PRO
- Joice PRO 2023
- SuperNet Pro
- Joice MAX 2023
- Joice MAX
- SuperNet Unlim
- Light+
- SuperNet Turbo 4G
- SuperNet Turbo 2019
Notable new prices include the Joice tariff rising to 330 UAH per month from 260 UAH, and the Joice Start Special increasing to 340 UAH from 270 UAH. Other tariffs will see similar price revisions.
Vodafone's most affordable plan, Flexx GO, will remain at 350 UAH per month. This tariff includes 25 GB of data and 500 minutes for calls within Ukraine and roaming. Additionally, a promotional offer called 'HOT' is available for new Vodafone subscribers, providing an extra 500 calling minutes and 25 GB of mobile data.
Market Impact
Therefore, Vodafone intends not only to increase prices but also to improve the value of its plans, which could influence user choices going forward.
The tariff increases occur against a backdrop of rising prices for services across Ukraine, likely connected to inflationary pressures and shifting market conditions. The introduction of new promotions for subscribers indicates the company's aim to attract more customers despite raising prices on existing plans. This could alter the competitive landscape of Ukraine's mobile market, as consumers may reassess their priorities and seek more advantageous offers from other operators.
