Drivers were explained whether they can avoid showing their licenses at checkpoints.
The court allowed drivers not to show their licenses at checkpoints.
According to reports, drivers can refuse to present their licenses at a checkpoint, and they will not face a fine. Courts in Ukraine usually decide such cases in favor of the drivers.
This means that instead of showing their license, the driver can present their passport, and this will be sufficient for the police officer.
However, if the driver has violated traffic rules and was stopped by the police for a valid reason, then they must present their driver's license upon the police officer's request. Otherwise, refusal will be penalized with a fine.
Cabinet Resolution No. 1456 dated 29.12.2021

We remind you that category B drivers can now operate trucks, but there are some restrictions.
