Increase in payments to the insurance bureau throughout May
Most of the regulatory payments made by MTIBU in May 2025 were executed under the obligations of insurance companies that are no longer members of the Bureau. During this period, 1,991 payments were made totaling 76.39 million UAH, which accounts for 60.6% of all regulatory payments from the Compensation Fund for Victims.
It is also worth noting that payments to victims of traffic accidents caused by owners of uninsured vehicles have increased. In this category, 468 payments were made totaling 42.05 million UAH (33.4% of all payments from the Compensation Fund for Victims).
The message from the MTIBU indicates a significant increase in regulatory payments in May 2025 compared to the previous year. The growth of compensations to victims of traffic accidents, where the perpetrators are owners of uninsured vehicles, is especially noteworthy.Read also
