According to ТСН: The driver of the Kirovohrad regional territorial center for recruitment and social support became the focus of attention due to his wealth. During his resignation, he submitted a financial declaration, in which he indicated, among other things, his savings in the form of bank gold.

Details about the former employee's assets became known thanks to a publication in the electronic declaration registry.

According to official data, in 2025, as a driver at the enlistment office, the man earned 200 thousand UAH. Additional income amounted to 75 thousand UAH in pension.

In the financial assets section, the declarant indicated cash and accounts totaling 300 thousand UAH, as well as gold bars, the market value of which is estimated at 220 thousand UAH.

It is known that the driver officially ended his work at the regional recruitment center in 2025.

Gold Rush Among Officials

This case is not the only one among representatives of state structures and military institutions. Similar assets have been recorded in other declarations.

For example, an employee of the Kyiv regional recruitment center, Oleg Kolomiiets, officially purchased one kilogram of gold together with his wife.

Valuable bars were also declared by the head of the ammunition storage unit, former head of the prosecutor's office in Ternopil region Mykola Petryshyn, as well as a representative of the NACP.

Customs officials and former members of the supervisory board of 'Ukrfinzhytlo' also reported their gold accumulations.

The trend of saving in precious metals is becoming increasingly noticeable among Ukrainian civil servants and defense sector workers.

Moreover, the SBU and the National Police conducted searches at the Transcarpathian regional recruitment center. Specialists carried out sanctioned searches of the 'leadership and employees' of the Transcarpathian regional territorial center for recruitment and social support.

The situation with the financial declarations of civil servants indicates a possible inaccuracy of the data in the reports, as well as reveals potential risks of corrupt activities in this sphere. The searches at the Transcarpathian territorial center indicate active actions of law enforcement in this region, which is likely part of a larger anti-corruption campaign in Ukraine.
