Shelling of Kupiansk: two women killed, police opened a case of war crime.
According to inkorr.com: In Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, shelling took place, resulting in the deaths of two women. This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv police on Telegram.
According to law enforcement officials, the victims were women aged 69 and 63. The son of one of the women called the hotline 102 to report the tragedy.
'Both local residents died on the spot from their injuries. Police continue to gather evidence of Russian terror against civilians', the message states.
Law enforcement also noted that investigators opened a criminal case under the article on war crimes.
Situation at the Front
The commander of the 3rd artillery division of the 'Buriev' brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Nazar Tikhovetsky, reported during a television interview that the situation in the Kupiansk direction remained under control.
According to him, the opponent is constantly trying to break through the Ukrainian defense lines in small groups of fighters or on motorcycles and ATVs, but all their attacks end in failure.
Attacks on Bila Tserkva
It should be noted that Russian occupiers have been attacking the city of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv region for two consecutive nights. As a result of the enemy shelling, one person died in Bila Tserkva - the body of a man was discovered during the extinguishing of a fire in a garage cooperative.
Shelled in Crimea
The spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 2nd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, reported that Ukrainian troops carried out attacks on key objects of the Russian air defense system in occupied Crimea. Drones hit a radar complex and other facilities used to protect military bases.
Captain Pletenchuk noted that destroying the air defense system is a priority for successful further operations, as Russian troops use it to protect their facilities, which is important for advancing on enemy positions.
Shelling and attacks emphasize the tension in regions that are under threat and indicate the unceasing nature of the conflict. The tragedy in Kupiansk and the relentless attacks on Bila Tserkva are evidence of the constant danger to civilians in a war that has been ongoing for more than a year.
