According to Korrespondent.net: Volkswagen is gradually revealing details of the new electric crossover ID.Unyx 08 in China. The model will be available with two battery options that allow for a range of up to 730 km without recharging.

The ID.Unyx 08 features batteries with capacities of 82.368 and 95.04 kWh, providing a range of 630, 700, or 730 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle, depending on the configuration. A key feature of the new model is its 800-volt electrical architecture, which supports ultra-fast charging and reduces energy recovery time.

The power unit is represented by an electric motor with a capacity of 308 hp.

The dimensions of the ID.Unyx 08 are: length - 5000 mm, width - 1954 mm, height, depending on the version, reaches 1672 or 1688 mm, and the wheelbase is 3030 mm.

Design

Externally, the electric crossover is designed in the brand's new style. The front part features narrow daytime running lights with an ascending line, and the Volkswagen logo is placed between them. The solid grille is combined with a trapezoidal lower air intake and a lightweight spoiler. From the side, the model has a double belt line, hidden door handles, and various wheel rim options, while the rear part is designed simply with thin straight taillights.
