According to TSN.ua: Kyiv sustained damage in several districts following a hostile attack overnight on February 2nd. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, provided an update on the situation as of 3:40 a.m. This latest strike is part of a prolonged pattern of assaults on the Ukrainian capital.
Damage Reported Across the Capital
- In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building, and a 25-story and a 5-story residential building were damaged.
- In the Desnianskyi district, a non-residential building was damaged.
- In the Dniprovskyi district, debris from hostile aerial targets was found, damaging a kindergarten's grounds and a 5-story residential building.
- In the Pecherskyi district, a gas station was damaged.
- In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a 22-story residential building was damaged.
The number of people injured in the attack has risen to two. Emergency services are on-site, working to clear the damage from the attack and provide aid to the victims.
This attack is further evidence of the escalating conflict in the region and confirms the ongoing threat to civilian safety.
