Rescue Operations Underway in Kyiv

According to Novyny.live: Search-and-rescue efforts are still ongoing in Kyiv following a Russian attack that took place on the night of July 1–2. While the condition of some victims has stabilized, several individuals remain unaccounted for. According to reports, the total number of people affected by the assault has reached 92, with 56 patients receiving treatment in Kyiv hospitals as of the morning of July 3.

The attack, described as unprecedented in scale, claimed 30 lives. Among the wounded are four children, including a 10-year-old boy whose parents are listed as missing. The whereabouts of a 15-year-old girl also remain unknown, and she has been officially designated as missing.

Aftermath of the Assault

Yuriy Ihnat confirmed that the July 2 strike involved a record number of ballistic missiles—28 in total. Vitali Klitschko provided updates on the condition of those injured in the Russian attacks on Kyiv, noting that the hospitals are not only treating victims but also six medical workers who were among the casualties.

The situation remains tense, with emergency services continuing their search for the missing and providing aid to the wounded.

This assault ranks among the most devastating in recent months, underscoring the severe threat facing Ukraine’s civilian population. The use of a large number of ballistic missiles signals an escalation in the conflict and highlights the urgent need for enhanced security measures.
