For the first time not under US leadership: it became known when the new 'Ramstein' meeting will take place.

The meeting of the Contact Group will be chaired by the United Kingdom

According to informed sources of Radio Free Europe, the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense in the 'Ramstein' format will take place on February 12 under the leadership of the United Kingdom, not the USA.

The publication 'Hvylya' does not provide more detailed information about this meeting.

Earlier, the German Minister of Defense reported that the next meeting in the 'Ramstein' format would take place in Brussels before the Munich Security Conference, scheduled for February 14-16. However, it is still unknown what the future holds for this format due to the change in the US administration.

Let us remind you that after the 25th meeting of the Contact Group, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov expressed the opinion that the next 'Ramstein' meeting might take place in February.

It is also known that part of the duties performed by 'Ramstein' has been transferred to NATO. In Wiesbaden, the NSATU mission (NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine) has started working, which coordinates the supply of weapons and Ukraine's needs.
