The USA wants to buy weapons from Ukraine — details from Zelensky.
The USA expressed a desire to purchase drones from Ukrainian manufacturers, while Ukraine is considering the possibility of acquiring other weapons from the United States. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during an interview with NewsMax.
'I really want America to help us protect our sky. This is very important',
It was noted that such a partnership would be beneficial for both parties. Zelensky emphasized that cooperation with the USA would contribute to the creation of an air defense shield for Ukraine.
Ukraine's security issues
Earlier, Zelensky stated that the number of attacks from Russia on Ukraine has decreased following the visit to Kyiv by the US special representative Kellogg. It was also reported that the Trump administration is preparing aid for Ukraine, including long-range missiles capable of reaching targets deep inside Russian territory, including Moscow.
Ukraine and the USA are considering options for military cooperation that could change the strategic situation in the region and increase support for Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
