Remember, the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke a Russian unit in Kurshchyna known for abusing Ukrainians.

Defense Minister John Healey believes that the longer Ukraine holds its positions in Kurshchyna, the more it will damage the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Recall, Ukrainian military operating in Russia's Kursk region display humane treatment towards the local population, going beyond the Russian approach on occupied territories in Ukraine.

Western journalists note that Ukraine wants to show that it will not descend to the level of brutality demonstrated by Russia in cities like Bucha.

Previously, it was reported that Russia has already raised 38,000 personnel, including assault brigades, from southern Ukraine to counter the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kurshchyna, but these counterattacks are not yet large-scale.
