The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported updated losses of Russian occupiers on the morning of Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 28, 2025
As of May 28, the Russian Federation has recorded the following losses in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel – about 983,890 (+1,050) people;
- tanks – 10,864 (+4) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 22,644 (+2) units;
- artillery systems – 28,355 (+18) units;
- MLRS – 1,397 (+0) units;
- air defense systems – 1,171 (+0) units;
- aircraft – 372 (+0) units;
- helicopters – 336 units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 37,918 (+65);
- cruise missiles – 3,265 (+0);
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units;
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit;
- automotive and refueling vehicles – 49,959 (+52) units;
- special equipment – 3,902 (+0).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of May 28
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Azov Sea;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to eight missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, five vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea – five vessels, of which three continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Azov Sea – five vessels, of which three were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Let us remind you that the full-scale war in Ukraine is now on its 1190th day.
