According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of April 6, 2025, updated losses of Russian occupiers have been reported.

Russian losses in the war as of April 6, 2025

Currently, the Russian Federation has lost in the war with Ukraine:

  • personnel - about 923670 (+1330) people;
  • tanks - 10554 (+13) units;
  • combat armored vehicles - 21972 (+20) units;
  • artillery systems - 25786 (+56) units;
  • MLRS - 1354 (+4) units;
  • AA systems - 1124 (+1) units;
  • aircraft - 370 (+0) units;
  • helicopters - 335 (+0) units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 31846 (+68) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3123 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 (+0) units;
  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
  • vehicles and tank trucks - 43050 (+96) units;
  • special equipment - 3789 (+1) unit.

Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of April 6

  • In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship that is a carrier of the cruise missile 'Caliber', with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
  • In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
  • In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, all three are carriers of cruise missiles 'Caliber', with a total salvo of up to 26 missiles.

During the day, in the direction of the Russian Federation, 12 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea - 12 vessels, of which nine continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov - 8 vessels.

It is known that the war in Ukraine has now lasted for 1138 days.

Analysis

As of April 6, 2025, the losses of the Russian occupiers continue to rise. This indicates active defense by the Ukrainian forces and their effectiveness in fighting the invaders. Additionally, the low activity of the occupiers' fleet indicates the limited capabilities of Russia by sea. Ukraine continues to demonstrate its readiness to fight for its independence and territorial integrity.
