Retired couple from Wales flees Greek resort: how to get a full refund.
According to The Sun: After John and Ann Jones booked their dream holiday to Corfu, Greece, they never imagined they'd return after just three days.
The retirees from Carmarthen in south Wales paid £2,359 for a 7-day stay at the five-star La Grotta Verde Grand resort with Tui.
“Our room continuously dripped, and the drainage was blocked, so water started seeping into the room,” said John.
The room was much smaller than the pictures online suggested and did not have the sea view they had anticipated - instead, it overlooked the restaurant and staff area.
The hotel had a foul smell, and John claimed it was pervasive.
After two days, the couple decided to return home and paid £241 out of pocket for a new flight.
