Deadly Attack on Znob-Novhorodske Community
According to TSN.ua: On March 28, 2023, Russian forces targeted the Znob-Novhorodske community in the Sumy region. The assault killed a 20-year-old woman and injured her 6-year-old sister. This incident was part of a large-scale offensive involving hundreds of drones launched by the Russian military.
That same day, Ukraine's air defense systems intercepted 252 out of 273 drones. The heaviest strikes hit the Odesa region, where two people died and 11 others—including a child—sustained injuries. The city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast also came under attack, resulting in one fatality.
“All circumstances are being established,” said Oleh Hryhorov.
These events underscore the persistent threat posed by Russian forces to civilians in Ukraine.
