On September 8, 2024, bravely fulfilling his military duty, in the area of one of the populated localities in the Kursk region, Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Savchuk died. This was reported by the Sokyriany City Council.
Oleksandr Savchuk was born on August 1, 2000. He actively engaged in sports and dreamed of becoming a soldier since childhood. Sashko received his general secondary education at the Sokyriany City General Education School No. 1. After seventh grade, he decided to study at the Bukovynian Military Lyceum in Novodniestrovsk.
On the front, the hero was the chief sergeant of an artillery battalion. He underwent training in Germany at one time. Oleksandr Savchuk's treasury includes numerous military awards and distinctions.

To our great sorrow, on September 8, 2024, bravely fulfilling his military duty, in the area of one of the populated localities in the Kursk region, Oleksandr Savchuk died.
The Ukrainian defender is survived by his mother Valentyna Ivanivna, father Vyacheslav Mykolaiovych, grandmother Margarita Mykolayivna, other relatives, comrades, and friends.
