Every day at 9 AM, citizens of Ukraine honor the memory of the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Milan Romanchak.
Milan Romanchak, who defended our country, died on March 26, 2023, near Bakhmut. This was reported by the Uzhhorod City Council.
Milan Mykhailovych Romanchak was born on February 25, 1980, in Uzhhorod. He studied and worked here, and lived here all his life. He was a kind and sensitive person who was passionate about sports. He was extremely positive and bright, a loving father, and a good relative.
When the war began in Ukraine, Milan could not remain indifferent and decided to go defend his Homeland.
The death of the Ukrainian defender occurred near Bakhmut on March 26, 2023, when he was defending our country.
The funeral ceremony of Milan Romanchak took place in Uzhhorod on Independence Promenade. His relatives, close ones, military personnel, and residents came to honor the Hero.
The family of Milan Romanchak was read a letter from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, expressing deep gratitude for his sacrificial service in the army.
After the requiem liturgy, a mourning procession took place to the Hill of Glory, where Milan Romanchak was buried with military honors.
