Every day at 9 am Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Dmytro Kravchenko.

On September 30, 2024, Ukrainian defender Dmytro Kravchenko was killed in the war. This was reported by the mayor of Cherkasy, Anatoliy Bondarenko.

The soldier was born on August 28, 1994, in Cherkasy, where he later attended schools No. 34 and No. 4. He received his higher education at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Ihor Sikorsky. There he studied at the chemical technology faculty, obtaining a bachelor's degree.

After his studies, Dmytro Kravchenko served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a contract basis. He had the status of a combat participant.

Later, he worked as a design engineer in the production of decorative tiles.

After the full-scale invasion by the Russians, he served in the military as a radio station operator for the communication platoon of the rifle battalion.

Dmytro Vasylovych Kravchenko was killed on September 30, 2024, while performing his duties as a result of an FPV drone attack in the Donetsk region.

A farewell to the defender was held in Cherkasy on October 9. The hero will forever remain 30 years old…
