Horrific accident in Khmelnytskyi: a teenager and a man died, three others injured.
A horrific accident occurred in Khmelnytskyi, where a car and a truck collided. Two people died, and three were injured. This information was provided by the State Emergency Service (SES).
According to the information received, the accident happened near the village of Yampil in the Shepetivka district. SES specialists rescued two lives from the scene, assisting medics in transporting the injured to the hospital.
“At the site of the incident, SES specialists disconnected the batteries from the power supply and extricated the bodies of two individuals from the wrecked car. Subsequently, together with medical personnel, the rescuers transported the injured to the ambulance,” the message says.
One of the drivers and a passenger died on the spot. Two other passengers, including a child, were taken to the hospital, and the truck driver also sustained injuries. Law enforcement is investigating the causes of the accident. We remind that even on small sections of the roads, it is necessary to adhere to traffic rules, as it can save lives.
