Closed Sea Ports in Mykolaiv Region: Business Restructures Logistics Chains Around the Region.

The sea ports in the Mykolaiv region have not been operating for a long Time, leading to a serious economic crisis in the area. Local companies, in order to continue exporting, are forced to look for alternative routes through other regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.
Vitaliy Kim expressed concern that after the resumption of operations at the Mykolaiv ports, entrepreneurs will find it very difficult to return to previous logistics routes. He also noted that this situation could lead to profit loss and pose a threat to businesses themselves, as restructuring requires additional costs.
The agricultural sector of Mykolaiv has been the hardest hit by the port closures, as it typically exports its products through them. Farmers have to transport their goods to the ports of neighboring regions that are part of the grain corridor.
Thus, the prolonged blockade of the ports not only affects the economy of the southern region of Ukraine but also changes the structure of regional logistics networks and export flows.
