The Deputy Minister reported that drones fall in Belarus practically every week.

Problems with drones are occurring more frequently in Belarus, which then need to be demined. However, these drones explode only in the fields, not near houses. This was reported by the publication 'Flagstok', citing an interview with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander of Internal Troops Nikolai Karpenkov.

According to him, drones often enter the Belarusian border area, which indicates ongoing efforts to demine them.

'Many drones fall only in the fields - and they explode. But drones that fall in populated areas, for example, in Khoiniki or Loev, do not explode. They fall right between houses or on the road, and remain only a few dozen meters from the house. But strangely, they do not explode,' said Karpenkov.

According to Karpenkov, a sapper inspects the recovered drone using X-ray to detect the presence of explosives inside. Then the drone is dragged away and detonated.

Karpenkov noted that some drones are shot down, while others enter, and this is a result of military actions in the south of the country.

'This happens practically every week,' he stated.

Karpenkov did not specify which country the drones that fall in Belarus come from.

It is also worth noting that Karpenkov did not mention the operation of air defense forces but believes that God protects Belarus.

Recall that in September 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported violations of the country's air border, presumably by drones. All these drones were destroyed. For the first Time, Belarus shot down a Russian 'Shahed' drone that entered from Ukraine on August 29.

Official Minsk did not protest against the Russian side regarding these events.

It was previously reported that Belarus concealed facts regarding the incursions of Russian drones into its territory. This was stated by the self-proclaimed president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
