Detention of Usyk at the Polish Airport: What is Known as of the Morning.
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk was detained at the Krakow airport in Poland. This was reported by MP Jean Beleniuk on his Telegram channel. He also published a video showing Polish law enforcement officers putting handcuffs on Usyk. The reasons for the detention were initially unknown.

Later, Usyk's wife reported that he was fine and that there was nothing criminal. She also added that Usyk would explain everything later. The Consul General of Ukraine in Krakow went to the airport to clarify the circumstances of the detention. The Ukrainian side does not accept the treatment of its citizen and champion. President Volodymyr Zelensky is outraged and instructs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the police to look into the situation. The athlete was released.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha revealed details of Usyk's release after his detention at Krakow airport. The official noted that ministry representatives immediately responded to the champion's detention in Krakow and facilitated his release.
