The announcement came during an interview held on May 31.

In his statement, the president stressed the need for active negotiations rather than mere talk about collaboration opportunities, saying: “We need to negotiate, not just talk about it.” These remarks underscore Ukraine’s vigorous efforts to advance its defense and security technologies.
Strengthening Ukraine’s Defense Capabilities Through Innovation
This initiative reflects Ukraine’s drive to bolster its defense capabilities through innovative technologies, particularly unmanned systems, which are becoming increasingly critical in modern military conflicts. Securing agreements with the US and the EU could not only enhance Ukraine’s technological foundation but also strengthen international support, a key factor amid ongoing Russian aggression.
