Zelensky announced a conversation with Trump and responded to Putin's demand.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a planned conversation with US President Donald Trump. He noted this during a press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
Zelensky also mentioned that Trump had previously spoken with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
'Today I plan to contact President Trump. We will discuss details and next steps. Our teams have already held a successful meeting. I think everything is going the right way, except for Russia, which is unhappy when everything goes well,' Zelensky said.
The president also plans to discuss the details of the conflict resolution between Russia and Ukraine and hear the details of Trump's conversation with Putin.
'I had some insights (about Trump and Putin's conversations). Our teams communicated in the evening, but I want to talk about the details when I directly speak with Trump. Only then can I share some details. We are ready to send our technical team for the next steps. The details of the meeting and its format will be known later,' Zelensky said.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine does not plan to attack Russian facilities if Russia does not attack Ukrainian ones. He also reported that he would provide a list of facilities for monitoring to partners.
'We need control, not just simple promises from Putin. The main subject of control should be the USA,' the president emphasized.
Additionally, Zelensky stated that he would not discuss the size of the Ukrainian army with Russian representatives. He explained that the cessation of intelligence from the USA is dangerous, as it will lead to a loss of accuracy in tracking the flights of Russian missiles.
'If Putin truly desires peace, then why does he talk about stopping aid to Ukraine? This means that Putin wants us to be unaware of Russia’s attacks on the peaceful population of Ukraine. Without intelligence from the USA, Ukraine will not be able to track the flights of Russian missiles,' Zelensky stated.
Moreover, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will never recognize the temporarily occupied territories of Russia.
Earlier, the president had already responded to Russia's demands regarding mobilization and armaments.
